Hello Kortnie, Great question! For myself, I always try to be heavily involved with the user research process, whether that is listening in on interviews and debriefs or running the research myself. If you’re part of discovering the problems in user research, you can use user data to advocate for why a problem you discovered needs to be prioritised. I find that if I come to a PM w/ clear data (qualitative or quantitative) about why something needs to be prioritised, I’m more likely to be listened to.
